St. Mary's School is a Catholic Elementary School (Pre-K through Grade 8) in the Diocese of Knoxville, staffed by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Convent, Nashville, Tennessee.
The School has full accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Diocese of Knoxville and the State of Tennessee . We welcome children of all faith backgrounds, and feature:
St. Mary's offers a full-day Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten program for children, which extends until 3pm each day. Both programs offer students cafeteria lunch, outdoor recess, indoor play period, snack time and afternoon rest time.
Our Pre-K program requires that children be 4 years old by September 30, 2008. You may choose from a 3-day (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or 5-day (Monday through Friday) option to best suit your needs.
Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 30, 2008. The Kindergarten program is offered Monday through Friday.
The Pre-K curriculum includes: Christian Doctrine, Computer, Language Arts, Library, Mathematics, Music, Science, Physical Education, and Spanish.
The Kindergarten program includes: Art, Christian Doctrine, Computer, Language Arts, Library, Mathematics, Music, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, and Spanish.

St. Mary’s students in grades 1 through 8 participate each year in the Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS). ITBS is a series of norm-referenced standardized tests in academic subjects.
