Results of Student Achievement -- 2007 Iowa Test of Basic Skills
  • 100% of St. Mary's students rank "proficient" or "advanced in the four major subject areas (Math, Reading, Social Studies, and Science).
  • 90% rank "advanced" in all four major subject areas.
  • In every major subject at every grade level, our students are performing at least one year above grade level.
  • Based on grade level equivalents, students show an average academic increase of 1.5 years as they progress from grade to grade, versus the expected 1 year of growth.
 
Feedback from Parent Surveys given in August 2007
  • 90% of parents recognize the value of choosing a Catholic education for their children.
  • 99% report that they feel welcome at the school, and 98% say they are encouraged to be involved in school events.
  • 96% believe that St. Mary's personnel are committed to providing a safe, orderly, and purposeful atmosphere for learning.
