Service To Others

Part of St. Mary's mission is to teach children to act in a Christ-like manner towards others. To achieve this goal the students participate in many service projects throughout the school year.


 

 

  •  Collecting food for St. Joseph Food Pantry

•  Adopting needy families at Christmas time

•  Corresponding with our sister parish in Haiti

•  Visiting retirement center

•  School wide paper recycling

•  Collecting school supplies for the needy

•  Crazy Quilt / Giving Tree gift collection

•  Operation Christmas Child

•  St. Jude Math-a-thon to benefit St. Jude's Hospital

•  Complementary orchestra performances

•  Cleaning up parish grounds

•  Knoxville Fantasy of Trees to benefit Children's Hospital

•  Big Brother/Big Sister mentoring program
